I'm questioning why I didn't get a slow cooker earlier. Made Baked Slow Cooker Chicken on Friday with a few alterations - added 2 cups of chicken stock, stuffed the chicken with garlic and chopped onion and added carrots and a potato to the mix. It came out like a stew, which is perfect because we both ended up feeling under the weather this weekend and nothing is better than a warm cup of chicken soup. One suggestion, use a fat separator on the soup since the chicken cooks out a lot of fat.
