It has been at least six years since I've watched Food Network this religiously. With each show I get a new craving, breakfast from Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, Southern chicken fried steak from Thrown down with Bobby Flay, crab from Tailgate Warriors.
Making a list of NEW places I'm going to rampage once I'm freed. East Wall Chinese Restaurant came up in my search for seafood. Reminds of me of good Chinese meals I had with the family and I'm longing to recreate the experience. Captain Tom's Seafood and Oyster Bar has me craving a solid gumbo. I beeline to Mama's Cafe for chicken fried steak or some major breakfast options - biscuits and gravy and Huevos Hofbrau.
Oh man. Five weeks left. It's going to be a long freaking five weeks.
