Jewelry making class

1:38 PM

though i enjoy wire wrapping i needed something more challenging when it came to jewelry making and the introductory jewelry making at Glassell School of Art is the perfect creative outlet.

first assignment: make a cuff with a music theme
sawed out a trumpet and i love it so much i don't want to bend it into a cuff.

if you live in Houston and are looking for art classes, check out Glassell. they have a range of classes from drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking and more. not to mention they have a pretty stellar set up for their workrooms. if you take photography, you'll love the darkroom. i did.

second major task is solder. looking forward to the blow torch.
